Hello!
Meet Dr. Shelby Wolf

I know how overwhelming it can feel when you're worried about your child. Maybe you've noticed they're struggling in ways that don't quite make sense, or you're searching for answers that feel just out of reach. As a mom and a pediatric psychologist, I understand that behind every question about your child is a parent who loves them deeply and wants to see them flourish.

My passion is helping families like yours discover how your child's unique brain works - because when we understand the "why" behind their behaviors and challenges, we can unlock their incredible potential together.

My Journey & Expertise

With 10+ years dedicated to understanding children's minds and development, I've built my expertise around what matters most: helping kids and families thrive. I earned my PhD in School Psychology and completed specialized fellowships in pediatric psychology and behavioral health, with focused training in child development, autism, ADHD, and learning differences.

My professional journey has taken me through diverse settings - from major medical centers and specialized autism clinics to private practices and child development centers. I've had the privilege of serving as a clinical director, founding training programs for new clinicians, and leading psychology services while also teaching the next generation of practitioners. This breadth of experience means I truly understand children from many different perspectives and can meet families wherever they are in their journey.

Why I Created Clarity Assessments

For years, families in Southern Minnesota had to drive 90+ minutes to the Twin Cities or other metropolitan for comprehensive neurodevelopmental evaluations. They faced $3,500-$5,000 costs and 6-12 month wait times.

I created Clarity Assessments to bring this specialized expertise to our community - providing the same gold-standard assessment tools and comprehensive service at a more accessible price point, with much shorter wait times, right here in Mankato.

My Approach

I believe every child has unique strengths and challenges that deserve to be fully understood. My evaluations go beyond checking boxes - I take time to understand your child as a whole person, in the context of your family and their daily life.

You'll never feel rushed. You'll always feel heard. And you'll walk away with clear answers and practical strategies that actually work.

Outside of the Office

When not at work, I love spending time with my family, friends, and getting out in nature in our beautiful river valley here in Mankato! â€‹

You don't have to figure this out alone. Let's discover your child's path to success, together.
